Your Role

We are looking for you who want to step into the role of Accounting Manager. The position includes responsibility for:

• The accounting and financial reporting process
• Annual accounts
• System administration
• VAT and tax management
• Handling of funds
• Coordination of statistical reporting

You will become an important part of the finance unit, where you, together with your five colleagues and the Finance Director, are part of the municipality's management support. Here, finance, HR, communication, administration, and digitalization collaborate to create the best possible conditions for the municipality's development. As Accounting Manager, you play a central role in further developing our processes and working methods in close collaboration with the manager and other colleagues.

Who are you?

You are a person who is both structured and flexible, dares to make decisions, and enjoys working both operationally and with a forward-looking perspective. You see opportunities, have the ability to think from a holistic perspective, and understand the value of good collaboration.

You also have a clear pedagogical and communicative ability, as you work closely with managers and colleagues in different parts of the organization. We are looking for you who contribute both competence and joy of work – and who thrive in a team where we support and develop each other.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• An academic education in economics, or other education/experience considered equivalent
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting
• Knowledge of municipal accounting and legislation
• Experience with group accounting
• Good system proficiency, preferably in Raindance or similar financial systems
• Interest and knowledge in working with financial analysis and internal control

Meritorious

• Experience working within municipal operations
• Advanced proficiency in Raindance
